Middlesbrough have signed Peterborough United striker Lee Tomlin on loan for the remainder of the season with a view to a permanent deal.

The 25-year-old has already scored ten goals in 25 games for the Posh this term while also being sent-off three times, including twice in his last three appearances.

Tomlin actually totals 43 goals in 156 appearances for Peterborough since arriving from Rushden & Diamonds in August 2010.

Boro earlier recruited former striker Danny Graham on loan from Sunderland until the end of the season, while Marvin Emnes and Lukas Jutkiewicz have both moved out on loan.
