On loan striker Ishmael Miller believes the current Middlesbrough squad has the potential to go all the way this season.

The 25-year-old can’t play against his parent club this evening due to the terms of his move from Nottingham Forest in August.

But Miller, who has already won promotion at this level three times in the past, can see a similar scenario developing at the Riverside this season.

“I think we’ve got a great squad to be fair,” Miller admitted to the Evening Gazette. “The squad is big enough and strong enough. What we have shown is that when we have players out injured, the boys on the bench can come in and do a good job.

“And I think we have got the quality too,” he added. “We have good players in every department that can win games and win points for you. We have got a really good blend and balance now.”
