Middlesbrough head coach Steve Agnew still believes survival from relegation is possible.

The Teessiders are currently six points away from safety following their weekend scoreless draw with Burnley at the Riverside. That means they still haven’t won a league fixture since the middle of December.

“It’s a massive run in for us,” Agnew told BBC Tees. “We’re six points off with a game in hand and it’s all to play for. The players are determined to stay with it, and a break is something we deserve.

“I know for a fact we’ll have the support to the very end,” he added. “If we stay together and get the goal we’re more than capable of picking the three points up that will virtually change everything.”

Boro include remaining games against Arsenal, Manchester City, Chelsea and Liverpool in their final seven.
