Middlesbrough are one of the clubs being linked with released Manchester United defender Frederic Veseli.
The 20-year-old was deemed as surplus to requirements at Old Trafford at the end of last season having only moved there from local rivals Manchester City in January 2012.
Boro, Crystal Palace and Birmingham City are amongst those currently watching the situation of the centre-back who can also cover at full-back or in midfield.
Meanwhile, there is also reported interest from both Italy and Germany for the Swiss Under-21 international.
