Middlesbrough have completed the signings of Jonny Howson and Cyrus Christie for undisclosed fees.
Midfielder Howson, 29, arrives from Norwich City having previously been with Leeds United. He netted twenty-three goals in 188 first-team appearances while at Carrow Road.
Meanwhile, Republic of Ireland international full-back Christie, 24, totalled 119 games for the Rams since departing Coventry City three years ago.
The pair represent manager Garry Monk’s first signings after succeeding Aitor Karanka at the Riverside.
