The latest Vital Middlesbrough poll shows that Boro fans want Smith to sign.
Centre forward Alan Smith has been linked with a move to Middlesbrough, and it is rumoured that Southgate has lodged a £6.5million offer. 62% of Middlesbrough fans think Smith will be a good signing for Gareth Southgates sie.
There was also 30% who did not want Smith at their club, while 8% were undecided on Smith.
