Middlesbrough have completed the signing of Spanish striker Enrique ‘Kike’ Garcia.

The 24-year-old has agreed a three-year deal and was meeting up with the Boro squad at their hotel in Marbella on Monday evening.

Kike scored 23 goals for Real Murcia in the Spanish Second Division last season. He is seen as a replacement for Lukas Jutkiewicz, who is moving to Burnley in a deal worth more than £2m.

Boro were also expected to bring in Huddersfield Town’s Adam Clayton as they search for right-back options.
