Another big weekend for Middlesbrough with this time a visit to the capital and fellow promotion challengers Crystal Palace.
Boro are definitely without striker Curtis Main after being sent-off following his late midweek winner against Leeds United.
Meanwhile, there are once again a number of injury concerns regarding the likes of Jonathan Woodgate, Seb Hines, Andre Bikey and Scott McDonald.
“Psychologically, if you can beat Palace and jump above them it gives you a great lift,” manager Tony Mowbray told Boro’s official website. “If they beat us, we’ve got to win two more games than them and as the games pass you run out of opportunities to do that.
“They’re two points in front of us and the aim is to finish the game a place higher in the league and pushing on,” he added. “We’ll go there in a more confident mode looking to push on after our midweek victory over Leeds and we have to try and follow it up if we can.”
The Eagles could include Australian international midfielder Mile Jedinak in a protective face-mask after fracturing an eye socket against Huddersfield Town last month.
