Middlesbrough are still in talks with Championship neighbours Leeds United over striker Ross McCormack.
The Scottish international grabbed his second goal of the campaign for the West Yorkshire side in their weekend local derby draw with Sheffield Wednesday.
Boro have already been knocked back on three occasions with bids for the former Motherwell and Cardiff City forward who began his career at Rangers.
McCormack, 27, has already said he would be happy to remain where he is but recognises that could change should his club decide to accept an offer.
