Middlesbrough target Lewis Grabban has joined relegated Norwich City in a club record move for their new Championship rivals Bournemouth.
Grabban signed a three-year deal for an undisclosed fee after scoring 22 goals for the Cherries last season.
The 26-year-old striker reportedly had a £3m release clause included in the latest contract he signed last year and Bournemouth already rejected a bid of that size from Cardiff City.
Boro were understood to monitoring his situation, although the Dorset club confirmed no offer had been forthcoming.
