Championship rivals Nottingham Forest are lining-up a bid for Middlesbrough winger Mustapha Carayol.
The 24-year-old forward made 21 appearances for the Teessiders last season having arrived from Bristol Rovers over the summer.
His progress at the Riverside was rather hampered by a knee injury during his debut campaign but he still did enough to impress the home faithful.
However, with Billy Davies now back in charge, Forest are looking to significantly invest on the pitch this season and were previously interested in Carayol at the time Boro originally signed him.
