Middlesbrough earned themselves a 1-1 draw against Fulham after a couple of very late goals at Craven Cottage.

The Teessiders went behind when substitute Aboubakar Kamara headed in Ryan Sessegnon’s 86th minute corner, although summer recruit Cyrus Christie rescued them a point a couple of minutes later.

Midfielder Lewis Baker saw a couple of early efforts for the visitors, the second of those turned over by goalkeeper David Button, whose opposite number Darren Randolph prevented Oliver Norwood’s free-kick from locating the bottom corner.

Keeper Randolph also blocked from Floyd Ayite, while Christie, Patrick Bamford and Marvin Johnson replied wide of the target before Norwood was once again threatening.

Norwood also despatched a free-kick over following the restart, with Bamford and Johnson both wide and home replacement Kamara then slicing behind.

But the hosts still moved in front when Kamara headed in at the far post with only four minutes of the contest remaining.

However, Christie soon replied into the bottom corner for the visitors before substitute Ashley Fletcher almost took advantage of Baker’s late free-kick.
