Boro’s Egyptian striker celebrates his 25th birthday this morning, and hopefully will personally add the cherry to his cake with a goal at Anfield this afternoon.
Remarkably, at the relatively youthful age of 25, Boro is the striker’s ninth professional club.
After recovering from a groin injury, Mido is in contention to start against Liverpool this afternoon, although the good form of Jeremie Aliadiere, the return to fitness of Tuncay Sanli and the emergence of Afonso Alves could all prevent him from making a birthday apperance.
Incidentally, yesterday was the birthday of former Boro great Juninho, who turned 35.
Many Happy Returns To Mido & Juninho!
