Middlesbrough goalkeeper Connor Ripley has extended his stay at the Riverside to three more years.
The 24-year-old signed a two-year extension to a current deal that had been due to end in June 2018, reports the Evening Gazette.
However, Ripley is now poised to enter discussions regarding a season-long loan to a fellow Championship outfit, understood to be Burton Albion.
He’s already had successful previous loan spells with both Motherwell and Oldham Athletic.
