Middlesbrough continue to be stretched by injuries following the Capital One Cup quarter-final defeat at Swansea City.
Centre-back Andre Bikey and Belgian midfielder Faris Haroun both suffered hamstring problems as the visitors eventually went down
an unfortunate 1-0 scoreline at the Liberty Stadium.
“It’s like a hospital ward in the dressing room,” manager Tony Mowbray commented to BBC Tees. “We have to wait and see. We’ll strap everyone up on Friday and send a team out to try to beat Wolves.
“Everyone’s got an ice pack on,” he continued. “[Grant] Leadbitter came off with a tight hamstring, Andy Halliday has an Achilles problem, and there’s a few others.”
