After three straight Championship draws Middlesbrough manager Tony Mowbray reckons it’s high time his team started winning.

Despite only being victorious once so far this term, Mowbray remains reasonably satisfied with the levels of progress being displayed by his charges.

“We haven’t accrued enough points for the performance levels that we’ve shown,” he admitted to the Evening Gazette. “That will change, if we keep doing the right things that will change, I’m sure.

“The signs are okay, I think the team’s starting to show a style and method of how we want to play,” Mowbray added. “It’s starting to take shape and as coaches that’s positive.”
