Manager Tony Pulis was unhappy at the manner of the goals conceded during the 3-3 draw at neighbours Sunderland.

The Wearsiders rescued a late point courtesy of an injury-time equaliser from Callum McManaman after Patrick Bamford (2) and Grant Leadbitter (pen) were on target for their opponents.

Joel Asoro and Jonny Williams also struck for the bottom-of-the-table hosts, while Jake Clarke-Salter (Sunderland) and Adama Traore (Boro) were both sent-off.

“We conceded two goals from a long throw and a corner. That is disappointing,” Pulis told BBC Sport. “There’s really good things about this team I like, but other things they have to really toughen up to. Seeing games out is one of them.”
