The referee has been confirmed for the weekend home meeting with Nottingham Forest at the Riverside.
The game will be officiated by Keith Stroud, assisted by Nick Greenhalgh and James Mainwaring, with David Webb as fourth official.
His current record for this season is 30 games with 130 yellow cards and 7 reds.
