The referee has been confirmed for the weekend home meeting with Nottingham Forest at the Riverside.

The game will be officiated by Keith Stroud, assisted by Nick Greenhalgh and James Mainwaring, with David Webb as fourth official.

His current record for this season is 30 games with 130 yellow cards and 7 reds.

Most recent Boro games:

19 Nov 2017 – Leeds 2-1 Middlesbrough

16 Apr 2016 – Bolton 1-2 Middlesbrough

03 Oct 2015 – Reading 2-0 Middlesbrough

Boro’s latest home encounter with their weekend opponents was a 1-0 defeat in January 2016.

Jamie Ward scored a second-half winner for the visitors and knocked the hosts off the top of the Championship table.

However, Boro enjoyed better fortunes the previous season, eventually winning a Boxing Day clash 3-0

George Friend, Jelle Vossen and Grant Leadbitter (pen) were each on target after the interval.

Meanwhile, Forest had defender Kelvin Wilson sent-off in front of the biggest Riverside attendance in five years.
