Middlesbrough manager Tony Mowbray admitted he was simply relieved to be in the draw for the fifth round of the FA Cup following a late 2-1 victory against League Two Aldershot Town at the Riverside.

All the goals arrived in the final ten minutes of the game, with Lukas Jutkiewicz eventually clinching it for the home side with his second of the afternoon deep into stoppage time.

“Give them great credit, they have their own trials and tribulations in the league and they came here and frustrated us,” Mowbray told Boro’s official website. “The fact that we don’t have to go to Aldershot for a replay on a Tuesday night is a relief.

“We know there’s a lot for us to work on and that we need to improve,” he added. “But at the end of the day we scored two goals and we’re in the hat for the next round. Let’s hope we get a draw that’s kind to us and let’s see where it takes us.”
