Middlesbrough are represented in the latest Football League team of the week that has been selected following the clash with Reading.

The performance by Adama Traore in the two one victory over Reading at the weekend at the Riverside Stadium was enough to earn them a place in the side alongside the other most impressive performers in the Football League pyramid.

I think we’ll already know ourselves, and not just based on the latest performance, why Traore was selected as part of the team but explaining the choice – the FL blurb read.

‘Traore terrorised the Reading defence throughout Boro’s victory, grabbing a deserved brace to earn victory.’

It’s always good to see the club represented in this way, and well played to Traore for his recognition, but the most important thing about the weekend was of course the win.

Full Team:

Luke McGee (Portsmouth), Charlie Clough (Barnet), Michael Hector (Hull City), Matt Preston (Swindon Town), Adama Traore (Middlesbrough), Jack Grealish (Aston Villa), John-Hoe O’Toole (Northampton Town), Jordan Clark (Accrington Stanley), Mohamed Eisa (Cheltenham Town), Billy Sharp (Sheffield United), Simon Cox (Southend United).

Manager – Derek Adams (Plymouth Argyle).
