Boro going behind the scenes for their big weekend clash against Bristol City at the Riverside.
Goals from George Friend and Daniel Ayala witnessed the hosts coming from behind to clinch a massively important 2-1 victory and set them up for the vital three remaining games of the regular season.
The Robins had taken an early lead through Milan Djuric, but Friend rapidly nudged in an equalising header to keep them level at the break.
And into the second-half, Ayala was decisively on target for the third successive game, to add to his recent strikes against Sheffield United and Nottingham Forest.
That was sufficient to move Boro back into fifth place in the table and immediately above their next two opponents.
First up it’s a visit to Derby County this weekend before the arrival of Millwall on Teesside as the big games just keep on coming.
