Video: Still an important game says manager Tony Pulis

Manager Tony Pulis is keen to maintain the momentum against Ipswich Town in the final league game of the regular programme later today.

Thoughts are naturally already turning towards the forthcoming play-offs, although not from a Boro boss who is understandably wanting to finish things well this weekend.

“It’s an important game in respect of keeping the momentum going as much as anything else,” PulisĀ told Boro’s official YouTube channel. “It’s important the players approach it in the right manner and the right way. We’ll be taking quite a few supporters there, so we have a responsibility to those supporters.”

Pulis could decide to rest a couple of players at Portman Road, with a full squad expected to be at his disposal other than the sidelined Rudy Gestede.

“I think everybody will be fit for the game,” he added. “I think it’s whether one or two need a rest more than anything else. But I’ll look at that closer to the game.”
