Middlesbrough midfielder Grant Leadbitter insists it’s important to keep believing his side can still reach the play-offs.
That continues to appear rather unlikely following an eleventh loss in fourteen league games against Wolverhampton Wanderers at the weekend, when Leadbitter struck both goals for the visitors in a 3-2 defeat.
“We have to be better, no matter what happens this season, we need to be better,” he told Boro’s official website. “It’s no good, for a club like Middlesbrough, to be getting the results we are.
“I can’t put a finger on what’s happening at the minute,” Leadbitter continued. “We have to stick together and give 100% every day and do things properly on and off the pitch.”
