Top nineteen-year-old prospect Adam Reach expects to be back available for Middlesbrough’s next game.

The teenager has been struggling with an ankle problem lately but hopes to have fully recovered following this weekend’s international break.

Boro are next in action at recent Championship leaders and currently fifth-placed Brighton on Saturday week.

“I should be back for the Brighton game,” Reach told the Evening Gazette. “My ankle’s fine to walk on and run on but sometimes you can catch it at a funny angle and it will be sore.

“But the international break has come at the right time,” he added. “It’s giving me time to get 100% fit and hopefully back in the team. I’m not far off.”

Reach has missed the last six games after scoring a tremendous goal in the victory over Burnley back in August.
