Middlesbrough are beginning life back in the Championship with a visit to Wolverhampton Wanderers on Saturday afternoon.

New manager Garry Monk has expensively strengthened over the summer and record £15m signing Britt Assombalonga was expected to debut.

The former Nottingham Forest marksman is likely to be joined by fellow newcomers Jonny Howson, Cyrus Christie and Martin Braithwaite.

Wolves are without the services of Ivan Cavaleiro (suspension), Kortney Hause (knock) and Helder Costa (ankle), which should witness on loan Atletico Madrid forward Diogo Jota starting in attack.

Their record £15m signing Ruben Neves is also set to feature in midfield having arrived from FC Porto last month.
