Albert Adomah is becoming a real leader both on and off the pitch for Middlesbrough, according to head coach Aitor Karanka.

The Ghanaian international struck twice in the 2-2 draw at Huddersfield Town last night but it was also his contribution during the interval that helped the visitors.

“Albert was very good during half-time and showed us he is a leader here. He was perfect,” Karanka told BBC Radio Tees. “As an international he knows the team needs a little bit more from him, and I’m very happy with him because two or three weeks ago he wasn’t good.”

Former Bristol City winger Adomah, 26, has now scored eleven times in 35 appearances for the Teessiders this season.
