Middlesbrough target Javier Acuna has confirmed receiving offers from England.
The 24-year-old striker has spent the past couple of seasons on loan from Real Madrid to Segunda Liga side Girona, scoring eighteen goals this time around and helping them to a forthcoming promotion play-off final against Almeria.
Both Crystal Palace and Nottingham Forest are similarly believed to be interested in the Paraguayan marksman, plus an unnamed Ligue 1 club.
“There are several teams who are following me,” Acuna told Paraguayan TV show 3DFutgol, reports SkySports. “They are not just in Spain, I have offers from England too and I am very happy with everything that is happening. God willing in a week or two, we’ll know where I will sign.”
