Middlesbrough close their season with a trip to already-relegated Yeovil Town this weekend (kick-off 12.15pm).
Defensive duo George Friend (groin) and Jonathan Woodgate (hamstring), plus midfielder Grant Leadbitter (ankle), are all ruled out for the visitors.
Meanwhile, fellow schemer Dean Whitehead would miss the first three games of next season should he receive his fifteenth caution of the season.
“How important is this game? For me it’s very important,” head coach Aitor Karanka told Boro’s official website. “I want to win games. We have to go there and think it is a typical game in this division. Although they are relegated I’m sure they want to end their season with a win in front of their fans.”
The Glovers are without on loan Manchester United teenager Tom Lawrence but Liam Davis and Kevin Dawson are both available.
