Middlesbrough defender Ben Gibson has signed a new five-year deal at the Riverside.
The 24-year-old former Academy product is now contracted to the Teessiders until 2022.
“I’m delighted to sign a new contract,” told Boro’s official website. “Everyone knows what this club means to me. I’ve grown up with the club.”
He’s already made over 150 senior appearances since his first-team debut against Coventry City in April 2011.
