It is being reported that Everton have made a bid for Middlesbrough striker Yakubu.
A number of clubs have been linked with a move for the Boro striker, but this is the first firm offer for the 24-year-old Nigerian. The offer is said to between £10-£11 million.
If the Yak was to move t would be a huge blow for Boro losing their star striker just days before the start of the new Premiership season.
Yakubu has scored 35 goals for Boro since his move from Portsmouth over two years ago, he was also last seasons top goal scorer with 16 goals.
