Middlesbrough were happy with business on transfer deadline day with three more players coming into the Riverside.

Attacking pair Jelle Vossen [Racing Club Genk] and Yanic Wildschut [Heerenveen] were joined by Chelsea’s England Under-19 goalkeeper Jamal Blackman on a busy day of transfer activity.

Going the other way were England Under-21 keeper Jason Steele on a season-long loan to Blackburn Rovers, while defender Seb Hines joined Coventry City until January.

Boro had already recruited Tomas Mejias, Kike, James Husband, Emilio Nsue, Kenneth Omeruo, Damia Abella, Adam Clayton, Ryan Fredericks and Patrick Bamford over the summer.

And those could soon be joined by Chelsea youngster Lewis Baker, when the loan window opens next week.
