Boro leading scorer from last season as announced Boro haven’t even got started yet! Fighting talk if I’ve ever heard it!
‘We haven’t started yet, we haven’t seen the proper Boro yet and we have not seen the best of our players, but I don’t think there is a huge need for concern. The future looks bright for this club, two years ago we were not in this position.
‘We are competing in four competitions now and the club is going in the right direction. We haven’t had the start we wanted but there are still 28 matches to go, plus whatever we can achieve in the cups.’
Jimmy scored the only goal as Boro beat Everton last night, and insisted:
‘I think we should have won by more. Hopefully that is the start of a run for us now, we played well and deserved to go through.’
