Middlesbrough have received a home tie in the FA Cup third round after Monday evening’s draw.
The Teessiders are to host Sheffield Wednesday at the Riverside early next month.
Boro enjoyed a 1-0 Championship victory in their most recent meeting there twelve months ago.
Third round games take place over the weekend of 6th-9th January.
