Middlesbrough have another key relegation clash at fellow strugglers Hull City this evening.

Brazilian full-back Fabio is ruled out for the visitors after suffering concussion during their weekend draw at Swansea City.

Fellow defenders Calum Chambers and George Friend are already sidelined and attacking midfielder Gaston Ramirez doubtful with an ankle injury.

“A win does change everything, and that’s what we need,” Boro caretaker manager Steve Agnew told BBC Sport. “It’s a huge challenge and an exciting fixture. I’m quietly confident and so are the players. They’ll be fully focused going into the game.”

On loan defender Omar Elabdellaoui [back] and Dieumerci Mbokani [hamstring] miss out for the hosts and midfielder Tom Huddlestone is suspended.

Meanwhile, Evandro could be recalled following recent calf trouble, although Ryan Mason, Will Keane and Moses Odubajo remain longer-term casualties.
