Middlesbrough head coach Aitor Karanka has reacted to their recent blip by threatening changes.
Boro have failed to score in either of their last two games while taking only a couple of points. That followed five wins in six league games for the Teessiders under their Spanish taskmaster
“Maybe the players were distracted by the transfer window. It’s like they’ve forgotten what I want them to do,” Karanka told BBC Tees. “Hopefully, now it is closed, the squad can be more focused and start using our pressing style of play again.
“They need to because I am not happy,” he warned. “I don’t understand because we’re one month ago, not two years ago, they were doing the right things.”
