Middlesbrough are hoping to bounce back from their weekend defeat when travelling to Huddersfield Town this evening.

Midfielder Grant Leadbitter is still suspended for the visitors and defender Jonathan Woodgate is again unavailable due to a calf problem.
Otherwise forward Kei Kamara is currently being checked following a knock during the late 3-1 loss to Queens Park Rangers.

Definitely sidelined for the Teessiders are Mustapha Carayol (cruciate ligament), Tomas Mejias (finger), Seb Hines (thigh), Rhys Williams (Achilles) and Daniel Ayala (ankle).

“We have nine games and we need to win because we need points,” head coach Aitor Karanka told Boro’s official website. “For me it’s important until the last minute of the last game.

“We are playing for the club and we need to respect the club and the league and our opponents and the best way to respect everyone is to play 100 per cent,” he continued. “Our supporters deserve all our respect and we are here for them and the players need to show me that they want to be here next season.”

Huddersfield are set to be without Joel Lynch (hip) despite returning to training while fellow defender Calum Woods and winger Danny Ward are both chasing recalls.
