Middlesbrough midfielder Richard Smallwood has joined League One side Rotherham United on loan until the end of the season.
The 23-year-old has made thirteen appearances for Boro this season and 81 in total while scoring four times.
He was a late second-half substitute during the weekend victory over Charlton Athletic – the Teessiders fifth in their last six league games.
Former Boro trainee Smallwood could earn an immediate debut for the Millers against Crawley Town at the New York Stadium on Saturday.
