Middlesbrough’s on loan midfielder Jack Harrison has been forced out of England’s Under-21 squad.
The 21-year-old already missed their 2-1 victory against Romania due to a slight abdominal problem. And now his departure has been confirmed ahead of the forthcoming meeting with the Ukraine.
Harrison is currently on loan from Manchester City until the end of the season, but has so far been restricted to just a couple of substitute appearances.
