Middlesbrough’s newly-appointed boss Garry Monk could raid former club Swansea City for centre-back Kyle Bartley.
He previously signed him on a season-long loan when in charge of Championship rivals Leeds United last term.
The 26-year-old Stockport-born defender includes Arsenal, Sheffield United, Rangers and Birmingham City amongst his former clubs and originally moved to Wales for around £1m in August 2012 .
However, Bartley has since been limited to just sixteen league appearances before playing 50 games and scoring six goals while on loan to Elland Road last season.
