So, the first of 2 strikers has been decided in our latest poll.
Fabrizio Ravenelli was the clear winner, receiving over 50% of the votes.
Nicknamed the ‘White Feather’, Ravenelli spent 2 seasons on Teesside and scored 17 goals in his 34 league games. He made an instant impact after his move to Teesside, scoring a hat-trick in the memorable 3-3 draw against Liverpool on the opening day of the season.
However, although he was a brilliant player he constantly moaned about the club and the area. Therefore, fans have mixed memories about him – much like Emerson.
He was, for a period, the highest paid Premier League player but moved on to Marseille in 1998.
A top striker and a worthy addition to the Riverside Dream Team.
The poll to find the 2nd of our 2 strikers is now open so get voting!

A great goal-scorer! I hope Alves will be our hitman next season like Rav was when he first joined!
