1) So, after many expected Spurs to do well last year and finish in the top 6 – where did it all go wrong for you to end up in 11th? Or were your expectations for last season too high and 11th was actually a decent position?
I think our downfall was due to a number of reasons, the terrible start, Jol`s position becoming untenable and the Jol era generally running out of steam. I personally thought that Spurs would not finish 5th again but on the other hand, we should have finished higher than 11th.
2) What is the general feeling from Spurs fans about Juande Ramos? Even though he won the Carling Cup with you, is the jury still out league wise?
In general, the jury is still out. Ramos did win us the Carling Cup but the league form afterwards was terrible. In the long term he will only be proved to be a better manager if he surpasses Martin Jol`s two top five finishes.
3) With Keane already gone and Berbatov looking like he could be going, are you worried that you may lack firepower upfront? Will someone else have to come in?
Bent will be good this season but if Berbatov goes as well as Keane then they will need someone else in.
4) Modric, Dos Santos, Bentley are just some of the signings which look very good for Spurs – who are you most excited about? And who are you least excited about?
I am looking forward to Bentley as he is a proven premiership player. I can not say that I am disappointed with any of the signings.
5) What, realistically, would be a good season for you this term?
Top 6 Finish and at least Semi finals of the UEFA Cup would be a very good season, but top 8 would be an improvement.
6) Onto the Boro now, how do you view the club and its acheivements/potential?
I see Boro as a good solid well run premiership club that should have won a few more trophies in it`s time. I believe that your chairman is a top man in the way that he always backs his managers and I also have high regard for Gareth Southgate.
7) How do you think we will do this season, and what do you make of the signings of Digard and Emnes? And the potential signing of Justin Hoyte?
I think that Boro will end up anywhere from 8th to 12th and certainly no lower. To be honest I have not seen enough of those players to make a call on but I have read that they are very good players.
8) If you could choose any player from the Boro to put into the Spurs team who would you take?
As it looks like we are going to be short on strikers Afonso Alves please.
9) How will the game on Saturday end up?
Right now I would take a draw!
10) Finally, Jellied Eels or Fish & Chips?
Fish and Chips please I will leave the Jellied Eels to the Hammers.

I’m most excited about Gomes. One website mentioned that some circles have mentioned him as one of the best in the world. Although that might be a little extreme if he is half as good he will provide a solid platform for the ‘stars’ to build on. Gotta love Johnny Two Saints as well. Tight match at the weekend but I reckon Spurs might JUST edge it. 1-2.

100% agreed ibiza yids…..boro are getting spanked on saturday and everyone knows it! we dont even need to field strikers LOL…..modric and bentley will destroy them alone!…this should be a nice gentle run out for us….think of it as an extension of pre season

HAHA Have you not read berbatov isnt playing dumb arse, you dont know what your saying and you dont have all the facts to say all that crap. I say 2–1 middlesbrough althou i would like as much goals as possible to stuff them and to get a good goal difference it might make the difference during the season and maybe if we score alot for one match we could be top haha

Luke the fact that Berbatov has travelled obviously means he is driving th ecoach and wont be considered for the team selection, what is your source which claime he 100% isnt playing???
