Dutch striker Marvin Emnes has completed his move from Middlesbrough to Swansea City.
The 26-year-old arrives for a fee of in the region of £1.4m following a couple of earlier loans at the Liberty Stadium.
Emnes has signed a three-year deal with the Welsh club having managed only ten appearances under Boro head coach Aitor Karanka.
“I’m happy for Marv,” Karanka told the Evening Gazette. “I think he’s a very good player but when I arrived here he needed a change, he needed a new challenge, he needed another experience and now, at Swansea, he can play in the Premier League.
“I worked with him for two months and he is a very good player.”
