Charlton Athletic Rightback Luke Young is being linked with a move to Middlesbrough.
The 28 year old is keen to keep playing in the Premiership after Charlton relegation. And Boro or one of three Premiership clubs showing interest.
Aston Villa and Manchester City are the other two clubs that Middlesbrough will be competing with for Youngs signature.
Young has seven England caps to his name, but as Charlton struggled in the Premiership Youngs form dipped.
Boss Pardew knows Young wants to be back in the Premiership and is willing to listen to offers for the Defender.
