Middlesbrough have completed the signing of Birmingham City defender Ryan Shotton.
The 28-year-old centre-back arrives at the Riverside on a three-year deal and for an undisclosed fee.
Boro already had a bid accepted for the player earlier this month, but the move was delayed as his club sought a replacement.
He also includes previous spells with both Stoke City and Derby County, and is the ninth signing of the summer by manager Garry Monk.

The club has signed a great professional who started 45/46 games for Birmingham last season and his form in most part was very good.He did dip a little when the Captain Michael Morrison a centre back like Shotton went injured however as soon as his Captain came back so did Shotton’s form.A great signing.
