Middlesbrough have completed a deal for Oxford United winger Marvin Johnson for an undisclosed fee.

The 26-year-old Birmingham-born wide-man moves to the Riverside on a three-year contract ahead of the closure of the transfer window.

Johnson scored six times in 52 appearances for Oxford last season after joining them from Scottish Premiership outfit Motherwell exactly twelve months ago – that following eleven goals in 64 games while north of the border.

He also includes over a century of appearances and twenty goals for Kidderminster Harriers having begun his career with Solihull Moors.
