Middlesbrough have released eight players who are out of contract this summer.
Those include defenders Frazer Richardson, 31, who appeared eleven times until being sent out on loan to Ipswich Town, and Stuart Parnaby, 31, following 21 games in his second spell with the club.
Goalkeeper Jayson Leutwiler, Lewis Sirrell, Birger Meling, Jake Fowler, Cameron Park and Matthew Waters are also similarly departing the Riverside.
Meanwhile, recent loanees Nathaniel Chalobah, Danny Graham, Tomas Mejias, Kenneth Omeruo and Jozsef Varga have returned to their respective parent clubs.
