Middlesbrough have signed Dutch winger Yanic Wildschut from Heerenveen.
The 22-year-old has agreed a two-year deal with the option of a third, with the fee believed to be in the region of £800,000.
The former Holland Under-21 international is a product of the prestigious Ajax academy, although he left the Amsterdam club at the age of eighteen.
He has subsequently played a century of games in the Dutch Eredivisie for FC Zwolle, VVV-Venlo, Den Haag and Heerenveen.
