Derby County boss Nigel Clough was disappointed by the late loss of two points against ten-man Middlesbrough.

The Rams appeared set for victory as Chris Porter and Michael Tonge turned around a single-goal deficit before Boro had Rhys Williams sent-off for a second yellow card.

However, substitute Leroy Lita denied them maximum points right at the death.

“It’s disappointing having been 1-0 down for a long time and then to come back and go 2-1 up against 10-men,” Clough told BBC Sport.

“We gave a daft free-kick away and didn’t defend it and got punished for it. We’re getting punished for every little thing at the moment.

“But it’s part of the learning process and we have to see games out better than that.”
