Middlesbrough coach Mark Proctor regarded it as a point gained following a 0-0 draw at Nottingham Forest.
Neither side could find a winner at the City Ground as Boro remained in second place in the table despite their recent six-game winning run in all competitions finally coming to an end.
“The boys dug in a showed fantastic spirit in their third away game in a week,” Proctor told Boro’s official website. “We had a gameplan to try to frustrate and maybe try to win it in the latter stages.
“We created a few opportunities on the counter-attack, as they did,” he added. “But a point each is probably a fair result and we’re pleased with it.”
