Middlesbrough defender Alex Baptiste has joined Championship rivals Queens Park Rangers on a two-year deal.
That follows the 31-year-old former Mansfield Town and Blackpool centre-back’s contract being mutually cancelled at the Riverside.
Baptiste originally joined the Teessiders from Bolton Wanderers in July 2015, but immediately suffered a serious injury in a pre-season friendly game at York City.
He was sidelined for almost six months, until later loan spells at Sheffield United and Preston North End – those either side of his single Boro appearance in a League Cup defeat at Fulham.
